Resonance Practitioners Ltd (RPL) Mission Statement RPL is a customer service led business that aims to deliver the most effective counselling and therapeutic solutions for clients in emotional, mental or psychological distress. At RPL, customer care modelled from business best practice defines our standards, work and development of the organisation and its practitioners. Our practitioners work for their clients, and this is reflected in our compulsory training and financial structure. RPL believes that there is no single school or method of counselling or therapy that can authoritatively define the personality, mind, psyche and spirit of a person or group. The in-house training for all practitioners is based on a 'multi-disciplinary' format delivered with an understanding of customer services and customers' realities. The customer's needs define all our training, tutorials and line management support. Every client is unique, and every session carries its own uniqueness. RPL practitioners are committed to finding that uniqueness. They are trained to ethically move between and beyond their skill sets to serve their client's needs. RPL adopts a pragmatic, 'real-life' and common sense approach to clients. Practitioners respect the spiritual, cognitive and emotional values and beliefs which clients hold, willing to enable change only where an individual's performance or quality of life are impaired. Practitioners are trained to work with 'the reality on the streets' which affect individuals, couples and families medically, socially, economically and politically. Practitioners at RPL undergo in-house training to understand their own wounding and personal pain. Application of therapeutic models to themselves, combined with knowledge of their counter-transference, ensures that clients receive the highest standards of attention and intervention in sessions. The everyday reality of people's lives rather than irrelevant academic theory or the false superiority of qualifications and accreditational correctness shape course content and our experiential learning style. Practitioners have counselling or therapy related qualifications before joining the organisation. They then undergo a demanding in-house training to achieve depth, change, and transformation with clients in relational/work crises or emotional/ psychological distress. A disciplined inclusive approach to humanist, analytic and transpersonal psychologies drives the training that RPL practitioners are humble and committed enough to undertake despite their qualifications. This is not to be confused with integrative or eclectic approaches in therapy. RPL practitioners are here to serve. |
